Crystal is a singer/ songwriter originally from Fayetteville, NC. She has been singing since she was 3 years old. She entered and won many contests such as: the Farmer’s Market Idol (2010), Fox Icon Contest at Fox and Hound (2013 & 2014), and placed in the Top 10 in a country on-line singing contest. Crystal was also nominated for a Carolina Music Award for “Country Female Vocalist” in 2017 and that same year was runner up to open up at the Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach, SC playing all original country music. Crystal has made appearances with various bands around the Wilmington area such as: Sonic Spectrum, The Clams, Mako Band, Party of 6ix (trombone and vocals), her newest project Beer Truck Band, as well as currently sings in her duo of 10 years, Crystal Fussell Duo. She has performed at many places along the East Coast over the years. Crystal is a talented musician who enjoys performing and having fun on stage!

Brett started playing guitar at the age of 10. He would practice 8 to 12 hours a day. Heavily influenced by all the hard rock and metal of the 70s and 80s, his music passion became more of an obsession. Branching out to more styles like jazz, funk, and blues.

Brett started his professional musical career working in recording studios as an engineer and producer. After years of teaching, performing, and producing other artists, his musical tastes became well rounded. Currently based in Wilmington, NC Brett now focuses on writing and producing music but still gigs around town a few nights per week. A self described “recovering shredder”, he is still known to indulge in the occasional guitar solo.

Dane Britt has been a prominent local drummer in the Wilmington area for years. He is founder of the Dane Britt Trio, and has played with many bands, and competed nationally in multiple genres.

Joel Lamb is an active pianist and songwriter who currently performs with a wide variety of musicians in the Wilmington, NC music scene. Raised in the rural Pacific Northwest, Joel has been singing and performing with bands since 1996, spending years working with Jazz, Indie Rock, Punk, Electronic, Blues and Soul artists in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Austin. His current projects include songwriting, singing and playing keys for Brown Dirt Cowboys and RKTMN, as well as playing keys for Dock Street Pocket, ReSoul Band, and Mark Sinnis.

Lee founded Beer Truck in 2024 with the intent of bringing together good musicians who are fun people who love to entertain.

Lee has played in various local Wilmington bands during his career, including founder of reSOUL – a Dance / Wedding band, played with 40 East, a pop/country band, Sonic Spectrum – a Dance / Pop / Rock Band, and Pamoja – a Jazz / Funk band. It was in Pamoja that Lee honed his ‘funk’ bass, and where he had the fortune of meeting and playing with some awesome musicians

In addition to Beer Truck Band and reSOUL, Lee regularly plays bass in the Live Oak Church praise and worship band, and has played bass, drums and percussion with other local churches as well.

When not playing music, Lee recruits medical providers, as the president of Med Career Center, Inc.
